Mark Barrett, Blu Wireless Technology’s CMO, delivered a presentation last week at the International Wireless Industry Consortium (IWPC), which took place in Dusseldorf on the 19-21 Jan.

The IWPC exists to: “facilitate global knowledge-capital collaboration, delivering unfiltered real time insight into vital technology, market and ecosystem evolution”.

Mr Barret’s presentation was entitled *60 GHz backhaul in a software defined networking world*. The talk focussed on Blu Wireless Technology’s involvement with the Bristol is Open project, as well as their ongoing work with the 11ad standard.

Mr Barrett said, “IWPC is a key industry event and a great chance to catch up with other operators in the market and to discuss the state of the art”.
