Mark Barrett, Blu Wireless Technology’s CMO, delivered a presentation last week at the International Wireless Industry Consortium (IWPC), which took place in Dusseldorf on the 19-21 Jan.

The IWPC exists to: “facilitate global knowledge-capital collaboration, delivering unfiltered real time insight into vital technology, market and ecosystem evolution”.

Mr Barret’s presentation was entitled 60 GHz backhaul in a software defined networking world. The talk focussed on Blu Wireless Technology’s involvement with the Bristol is Open project, as well as their ongoing work with the 11ad standard.

Mr Barrett said, “IWPC is a key industry event and a great chance to catch up with other operators in the market and to discuss the state of the art”.
