Blu Wireless Technology, a leading developer of 60GHz, WiGig and wireless networking technology will attend Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.
Blu Wireless will be demonstrating the latest version of its HYDRA System IP architecture for WiGig applications and its third generation Lightning module. The Lightning module is a 60 GHz active phased array antenna used to deliver electronic beam steering using an active phased array antenna for transmit and receive operation. Several modes of operation are supported with typical ranges of in excess of 200m at a data rate of 1 Gbps.
Blu Wireless will also be discussing all things WiGig at MWC. WiGig is the newest member of the WiFi family and with the formal certification programme expected to be launched in 2016 – and with Qualcomm and Intel now committed to interoperability – the time is right for semiconductor companies to push new products for this emerging market.
