Straight into 2015 with Electronics Weekly pegging Blu Wireless in the top 10 companies to watch in 2015.

We attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on 6 & 7 January, where 60GHz, 802.11ad and WiGig were very much on the agenda. Hi-speed connectivity between phones, tablets, smart home and other IoT devices was a key feature of many of the products on show – Leading the WiGig charge is Qualcomm who were showing their WiGig chipset on the exhibition floor.

This year we had an unprecedented number of business meetings where we had a very intense two days of meetings with customers and partners – both on 802.11ad for CE applications and wider use in wireless backhaul for mobile infrastructure.

Next stop is MWC in Barcelona where we plan to show a first live demonstration of a working link based on our ‘HYDRA’ baseband technology.  Stay tuned for more news.
